Udyog Mela enthuses both Industry Owners & Job seekers in Peenya

Industry owners from Peenya Industrial Area took part in good numbers in the Bruhat Udyog Mela inaugurated by Hon’ble Transport Minister Sri Ramalinga Reddy and held recently at Regional Institute of Cooperative Management, Padma-nabhanagar, Bengaluru.

While 303 candidates were selected, 5,644 candidates were cleared for the final round at the event organized by KSSIDC in association with KASSIA.
About 103 companies from various sectors such as IT-BT, ITeS, Manufacturing, Automobiles, Banking, Sales and Retail, Telecom, KPO, BPO, Hospitality, Health Care, Insurance, Security etc participated in the Udyog Mela. Job applicants present included SSLC pass and above including graduates and post-graduates from engineering, technical, manufac-turing, and finance streams, among others.

123Expressing his satisfaction at the response from entre-preneurs and prospective job seekers, PIA Vice-President Sri M. Malyadri Reddy said such job melas can help to substantially meet the demand for skilled labour from the manufacturing industries in Peenya.

Sriyuths Dinesh Gundu Rao, Working President, KPCC. Dr. B Gurappa Naidu, Chairman, A.M. Pathan, Vice-Chairman Mohammad Mohsin, IAS, MD, KSSIDC, presided.

According to the organizers, the remaining job seekers apart from the selected ones, will be provided placement assistance and jobs provided at a later date.
