[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Commercial Taxes Department follows a open-door policy where any Dealer is welcome to reach the required officer or even the Commissioner to get their issue resolved, with the required documents, Sri Ritwik Pandey, IAS, Commissioner, Commercial Taxes Department, GOK, told PIA President Sri R. Krishnamurthy, President and Sri Vijay Kumar S. Makal, Panel Chairman, Commercial Tax, VAT, PIA when they called on him on March 1.

The Commercial Taxes Commissioner also thanked PIA for its proactive efforts to motivate and encourage its Members and Industries in Peenya Industrial Area to migrate to GST.

“Under the leadership of Sri Ritwik Pandey, the Commercial Taxes Department has cultivated a very good track record and high ranking under ease of doing business,”PIA President Sri R. Krishnamurthy, President, PIA acknowledged. “Our own feedback from our Member-Industries is that the Department has of late adopted a friendly attitude towards business owners and deserves appreciation. However, some of our Members complained about officials at Check-posts who needlessly harass the entrepreneurs by demanding some irrelevant or unnecessary documents. We brought this to the notice of the Commissioner who promptly agreed to issue necessary instructions to the officials manning the Check-posts and ensure that such incidents do not recur henceforth.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
