PIA Celebrated 72 nd Independence Day on 15 August 2018

The Peenya Industries Association (PIA) celebrated the 72 nd Independence Day on 15 August 2018. The PIA managing committee members and office-bearers, led by President Sri. Malyadri Reddy M., Hon. Secretary Sri. Muralikrishna B., hoisted the tricolour in the premises of the Peenya Industries
Association office.
Most of the participants in the even soaked in the patriotic fervour by wearing traditional dresses and Gandhi cap and holding aloft the National Flag. The participants also took out a small procession in the roads adjacent to the PIA office.
The last few years since Indian independence have seen major changes in the financial sector and industrial sectors. The prime minister’s “Make In India” initiative, the finance ministry rolling out the Goods and Services Tax, and the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises ministry’s assurances to safeguard the interests of the small industries vis-a-vis procurement share – all these hold out hope for the industries in Peenya.
