PIA President.

To facilitate the transition of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises into the new tax regime, the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) has launched a GST Helpline number. The helpline number 1800111955 dedicated for MSMEs is receiving good response from across the country.

According to reports, on an average the NSIC receives 30 queries per day. These queries are related to different issues pertaining to the GST including registration information, tax slabs etc.
Congratulating the NSIC for its initiative, Sri R. Krishnamurthy, President, PIA said the Helpline will help small entrepreneurs do businesses without any disruption due to the change in tax regime. To make the service more accessible, he requested the NSIC to add more lines for quick reply to queries of MSMEs at this critical juncture of GST transition.

The Helpline is a part of the NSIC’s larger GST information campaign that it launched earlier in various States and industrial towns.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
